| ROOTS instruments offer the latest technology in electronic
pressure and temperature correction. As an added benefit, the ROOTS volume
temperature compensator and ROOTS volume correction computer can be mounted
integral to most ROOTS meters. Volume Correction Computer (VCC)
The battery-powered, microprocessor-based ROOTS volume correction
computer corrects metered volumes for pressure, temperature, and
supercompressibility. Mounted on either a standard Instrument Drive,
Wall/Pipe, or integrally to any aluminum body ROOTS meter, the VCC is
totally user configurable. Our patented DataSAFE® data retrieval facility
ensures retrieval of stored volume data. As an integrally mounted corrector,
the VCC provides improved rangeability and greater tamper resistance. The
initial cost is also reduced by the elimination of instrument drives,
mounting fixtures, and extra cabling.

Volume Temperature Compensator (VTC)
Gas volumes are electronically corrected to the standard Base condition
for temperature with the integrally mounted ROOTS volume temperature
compensator. The battery-powered, microprocessor-based instrument is
available with optional fixed pressure factoring. Like the VCC, the VTC also
provides improved rangeability and greater tamper resistance.

Micro Corrector
The ROOTS micro corrector volume corrector is a versatile, low cost line
of volume correctors from DMD-Roots. The three basic models -the Model PT,
Model PTZ and Model PTZ + Log -can be configured eight different ways. The
Micro Corrector measures live pressure and temperature to calculate
corrected volume.
As you move up the model line, the Micro Series Corrector has added
capabilities including supercompressibility calculations, (SGERG 88/AGA 8
Gross Characterization Method) and data/audit logging functions. |
