Veri-Flame Web Promo
The Veri-Flame is a single burner control for
monitoring and controlling the startup and shutdown sequence of individual
burners. Three basic models are available – Purge, No-purge, and Modulation.
Variations within these basic models allow different flame sensing inputs
including Ultra-Violet Scanners, Self-Check Scanners, Solid-State UV-IR
scanners, IR scanners, and flame rods.

Questions and Answers:
Q: Can I use an Eclipse UV scanner with another manufacturer’s series
control?
A: No, these units are built to specific safety standards and are tested and
approved by listing agencies such as UL, CSA, and FM. Differences in amplifier
and tube technologies will not provide approved or safe operation when a
component from one manufacturer is mixed with a component from a different
manufacturer.
Q: Will the Eclipse unit plug directly into another manufacturer’s base?
A: No, you will need to change the wiring base. Refer to our wiring
cross-reference tables for the more common models.
Q: I am using 2 UV scanners in parallel to monitor the burner flame at
separate positions; can the Eclipse unit also do this?
A: Yes, our straight UV scanner, part number 49600-91, may be connected in
parallel.
Q: What is the difference between the 5602 and 5605 models?
A: The 5602 models have Canadian and US approvals with their shorter
“trial-for-ignition” times of 5 or 10 seconds (DIP-switch selected). The 5605
models have longer “TFI” times of 10 or 15 seconds with US approvals only.
Q: Does the Veri-Flame have CE approval?
A: No, these models are not currently available with the CE marking.
